You can also change some of the most settings such as changing the default browser, but the most important thing allows do, is install the software non- certified by Apple.
There is also tablet devices Jailbreaking of Microsoft Surface Rt where you can install non - Microsoft programs , where he originally the system of Surface RT only allows you to install programs certified by Microsoft.

Rooting

Rooting is to get the user permissions for a device Director , often rooting is used to Android devices , but it is also used for systems based on Lunix such as Nokia Symbian.
Root advantages on Linux are just the same of the Administration on Windows
Rooting gives you several advantages such as deleting some original applications of the system, run some applications that need rooting and more more ..
Disadvantages of rooting is that in the case of lack of knowledge of the system to deal with, user error could wipe some important files which cause damage to the system permanently.

Note : After rooting, the device does not remain guaranteed by the seller (This Means  That You Remove The Warranty).

Some phones, especially backed by telecommunications companies comes only supportive of the company's SIM cards .
When you enter the SIM card of another company do not appear.
The unlocking allows you to use another SIM cards on this phone if you are traveling or decided to change the company contact.
