After a few days of the end of Microsoft to provide security support for its Windows XP and exactly on April 8 next many show fears and negative implications, this fear is not confined to ordinary individuals and even companies, but especially working in the banking sector.
According to statistics, nearly 95 percent of the banks are using Windows XP as a platform to its ATMs and threatening the safety of the cash transactions, despite the fact that Microsoft offered to all companies wishing to continue with Windows XP to provide security support until January 2016 but that does not seem convincing to these companies.
It is well known that Microsoft has taken the decision to stop security support for Windows XP in order to force users to move to newer versions of Windows , especially Windows 7 and Windows 8 , but the banking companies are not convinced with this solution and it seems that they have found a better solution to run their ATMs where there is a talk of the desire to move to the OS (Linux ) instead of Windows XP , which considered that the Linux system remains easy and safe as substantially as it can work on any ATM even with low technical features.
In the case of the application of this procedure by the banks, it would be considered a big loss for Microsoft .
